The start of 2020.... in Jennings

We had no idea what 2020 would hold as the year started out with so much promise and joy.  Now fast forward 7 months and we've been at home for more than half of them, even still so much good has been given to us this year...

Here are some pictures from the first few months of 2020 as we watched Jennings grow more and more and the days went by faster and faster...

In early February we had a scare with Jennings when he stopped breathing on us.  We had to call 911, it was so so so scary and then we went to the hospital to be monitored.  The hospital was full and it was very reminiscent of when we were so scared about his abdominal surgery back at 2 months old.  Jennings and I stayed in the hospital for more than 24 hours and they ended up thinking he had an episode because he had been fighting ear infection, the flu and another illness all at once.

Also in mid-February he sported a new accessory, a helmet to help the shape of his head.  He went from being a great sleeper to a wake up every 45 minutes sleeper.  Man were we so tired for those weeks, until we decided we had to get sleep and so did he so we did a modified wear it after a certain time of night because well we had to find a way to function and sleep was a must.

They are pretty much twins aren't they?

Sure has been so much fun having Jennings in our lives.  I'm sad the baby stage has gone so quickly but I tell myself there is still more fun ahead.

Until next time,
Angie
