After Noah passed, it seemed most days in our lives were the exact opposite. There were some very difficult and dark days in our life. I don't even want to share details about them as thinking about them bring backs so much pain its traumatizing. Last year, on Noah's Kindness Project day, we felt it was the start of a turning point in our lives. That day was extremely healing for us and to know so many felt kindness in Noah's honor I believe it was the medicine our heart needed in this process of loving life again.
And here we are a year later, and looking back on yesterday, I just want to say... Wow, what a day! Thank you to everyone who supported us in Noah's kindness project. Jarrett and I remarked today that we are in a very different (better) place than where we were a year ago and that today was truly a celebration! Last year it was hard to see past the tragedy and loss, and the project last year was a turning point in our lives where we started to see hope again. This year we rejoice in the newest blessing to our family but also in so many of you who stood by our side, carried us through many difficult days and who continue to remind us that the simple act of kindness has great power. Thank you for honoring our son, thank you for loving our family and helping us find joy in life. mostly, thank you for sharing of yourself to make this world a little kinder. We are ever so grateful.
