Today after swimming Michael was helping me pick up all the stuff that comes with going swimming when he asked, "Mom, a long long long time ago, were people only black and white?" I was curious as to what brought up that topic of conversation, but went ahead and answered, "Um, no Michael there were all sorts of different races of people even a long long time ago. Why?"
He continued, "Well Mom, then a long long long time ago did people only wear black and white hats?" Again, still not sure what he was trying to get to I responded, "No, why?"
"Because Mom, every time we watch TV from a long long time ago, the people are only black and white and they are only wearing black hats."
Realizing he was referring to black and white television shows, I laughed and said no Michael there was color back then, it was just the video that was in black and white.
"That's good mom, I thought people a long long long time ago didn't like colors."
The never cease to amaze me with what they are going to come up with.
