My little old lady...

On days when I'm home with Isabelle, she has to some times has to play by herself.  When I'm working on meals, laundry, cleaning or what every else is on my to do list, she is usually occupied by her best friend, Minnie.

She LOVES Minnie and she loves her stroller.  The other day, I came around the corner with a load of laundry and found her like this...

Why yes, that is her acting all grown up.  And why yes that is Isabelle with her blanket draped over her shoulders like a shawl.  And yes, I couldn't help but think I was looking at my 80 year old daughter.  

She looked at me, smiled and said, "Bye Mom, I go to grocery store with Minnie for milk and eggs."

Yep, she's pretty much ready to move out on her own.  ;-)
