We've been playing baseball this entire year it seems. And minus a few of the hot months in the summer that were only filled with batting practice, we have been playing since last January. No wonder it feels like baseball and baseball games are as natural as the 8-10 loads of laundry we do each week.
This winter season Gabriel has been playing baseball up in north Scottsdale and while the views are gorgeous, we truly feel like we are out in the middle of the desert. So much so that the first time the kids and I arrived at the fields we were walking from the parking lot and about got charged down by a pack of javelina. It scared the beejeezus out of us.
So far the team has been doing amazingly well and if they win will be asked to go on to play against other teams across the state. We shall see how it turns out.
Until next time,
Angie
