This year, Jarrett and I broke tradition and we gave the kids an Easter gift of our own. This year, the kids got to open a present on the eve of the holiday and it was a gift, they never expected, but will never forget they got.

Surprise! We are having a baby!
Yep, that's right. Jarrett and I surprised the kids with the news that we are again growing our family. Yes, come October we will become the Haskovec party of six! Yes, we were surprised too. No, we didn't plan this. Yes, its okay to feel shocked, we felt that way too. Yes, we are pregnant! Yes, we can hardly believe it too!
The last several weeks have been filled with so many emotions, and if we are being honest, several of them were spent processing the reality that this is really happening. Now that we are officially in the second trimester and everything is looking great, we wanted to share our surprise with you.
In the coming days, I'll post blog posts written several weeks ago, as I recounted what we (I) were (was) going through and how the journey has been thus far. We hope you'll follow along with us as we celebrate this surprise, find joy in the wonder of letting go of "our" plan and following a greater one and the excitement of what it means to be Haskovec Party of Six.
I guess it might be time too, to change the title of this blog. Haskovec's Two Little Angels, is a bit outdated at this point.
