Until I became a mother again.
I seemed to have forgotten about how tired one can really get.
If only I could say it was because Madelyn was up all night. But that wouldn't be the truth.
I think its the months of sleepless nights (i.e. Peeing 9 times a night) while being pregnant...
Added to the fact that you still have to get up to feed at least once and pump.
And while my eyes may be heavy, have dark circles under them and bags where there should be beauty...
I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world!
So bring on that lack of sleep, because I'm gonna soak up these moments now. For someday soon, I'll look back when they are all grown and gone and wish I could have just one more sleepless night of bliss.
